Unluckily for us, It was closed. Until 5 anyway, so we had an hour to kill before we had dinner. We ended up heading to Broadway shopping centre to exchange gifts and salivate in the food court. Afterwards we went back to Essen and almost had a heart attack because apparently all the tables were reserved. The waitress there was nice enough to squeeze us in by the window though. =D

Even though we were about as stuffed as a turkey, we ended up heading to San Churro afterward. Churros are in my top 3 most craved food (along with Thai and Coke, lol) so no matter how full I am, I have a seperate tummy for Churros.

We got churros with caramel and milk chocolate dipping sauce and vanilla ice cream with strawberries. *drool* Just thinking about it is making me want to go back. I seriously have issues. loll

See how happy I look? haha.

Anyway, after that our plan was to go to the movies. Roger was very clever and bought us bus tickets beforehand so that we wouldn't have to walk. And they really came in handy too because it turns out that due to our super fullness, we were eating the churros like snails, and we were cutting it realllllyyy close to the movie.

We got off the bus with 5 minutes left until the movie started, YAY. What's not so great is that the line was so EPICALLY GINORMOUS! So basically we were screwed. We waited in line for awhile anyway, but then we decided it wasn't worth missing so much of the movie, so we decided to go to karaoke. haha.

We go in, get our money ready and then the girl at the counter informs us that instead of the usual 15 bucks per person, it's 90 bucks because there's a 6 person minimum. Fail number 2. =P

So we just end up sitting in one of the random semi deserted food courts near town hall to talk and take photos and be hyper. loll.

You don't know how long it took us to get that last photo of us, lmao. I had forgotten my camera, so we were using Roger's phone to take pictures. You don't know how epically difficult it is to take photos when it's a touch screen and you're not quite sure if your finger is actually pressing the capture button or not. lol.

After the security dude kicked everyone out from the area we were just hovering around trying to figure out what to do, and we ended up deciding on Darling Harbour. I wanted to go there for the ferris wheel, haha, but it ended up being even better. and FREE! =D There were a whole heap of people gathered around the water just sitting there, so we were kinda curious about that. But nothing was really happening. =/ There was street performer dude doing magic, so we stayed and watched him do the rest of his show. Afterwards we kind of went to try and see if anything was actually happening since everyone was still just sitting by the water doing nothing, and then magically an announcement comes on and says that there'll be fireworks. YAY! We find ourselves a nice spot, watch the awesomely close fireworks, and then headed home. =D

So luckily everything that ended up not going to plan, ended up leading us to the fireworks. lol, it was fate!

Anywho, I think that's enough mush for one day. =P

So those of you who know me, know that I have had some major addiction issues. eBay addiction issues. But last night I finally reached the 100 feedback mark! I'll admit, I may have said "yaaayyyy!!!" and did some fangirly hand movements, but in my defence...um. Yeah okay, maybe it's not so normal, but hey, I even got an email from eBay congratulating me on it. I seriously 'lol'-ed when I read it though.

THEY GIVE YOU A FRICKEN CERTIFICATE! lololol. Reckon I should print one off and stick it in my CV? =P

Anywho, just to prove my life isn't completely sad, I've been working on my Valentine's Day gift to Roger for tomorrow! Look! =D


It's like a tradition now, each year the person with the star jar passes it back to the other person on Valentine's Day. It's just filled with cute messages that will give us a lift when we're feeling down, or just when we need a little bit more love in our lives. =) It took me a couple of hours to fill it up with messages, but it's done now and I seriously can't wait to give it to him.

Tah dah! =D I really wished I could've gone out with my friends tomorrow too though. I hope you have fun without me girls. =( I'll ditch Roger next year and go out with you guys instead. =P

Ahhhh, I know how cringey this post is gonna make people as well. lol, so many people hate Valentine's Day, but I think it's great, not just for people in relationships, but also because I know friends come together to spread the love as well, so it's like a reminder that even though you might not have a significant other, you still have people that love you.

So...in advance, Happy V'day to my boif and my lovely friends! =D
